While some women always choose to get married early, men have this abnormality of marrying late; maybe in their 40s or late 30s.
Unlike women who view early marriage as the best choice, there is a group of men who view early marriage as a total mess and end up marrying late.
Here are ten reasons why some men choose to marry late;
1. GIRLFRIENDS.
did you hear girlfriends? Yes!!! Many ladies make men to marry late. A friend once said "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free".
I am sorry to use this harsh word, when some stupid girls will be busy carrying out wife duties. Washing his clothes and undies, cooking for him and giving him sex.
Why will they marry, when they are getting wife duties for free without commitment and marriage.
Ladies close you legs and see if these guys will not start marrying.
2. FLIRTING
There are young men who have been giving to flirting . They can't be satisfied with one woman. They have too many girl friends that grace their beds.
These make them find it difficult to comprehend the concept of marriage. Spending the rest of their lives with one woman. Waoooh!!! Impossible!!!
They can stay till their 50s or even 60s. They don't mind baby mama. They are called stupidly by the world zaddy.
3. COMMITMENT FEVER
Some men fear the commitments that marriage comes with.
They find it hard to commit to one woman, which is the exact case in marriage.
They, therefore, choose to stay in relationships where they know nobody would bother them that much.
In these relationships, they can be comfortable with whatever happens, which is different from the case in marriage.
4. FINANCIAL PROBLEMS
This is usually the major reason why men marry later than the appropriate time.
Marriage requires stable finances, and to avoid difficulties and stresses; financially unstable men choose to wait until the right time comes.
Some, who even have financial capacities to take care of a family, think they have not made it yet. I met alot of them in onitsha main market.
They want to make a certain degree of money, buy cars, build houses and have a large savings before setting down.
5. SELFISH MOTHERS.
Some mothers when their sons get a good paying job. They tend to want to enjoy their investments. I mean the time and money they spent raising their sons.
This makes them to scare any lady that comes around their sons, until they feel they are satisfied. My friends!!! No marriage for their sons oooooo .
If you like fine as a lady, be well behaved, even if you can cook, laugh and mop the house for Africa. You are wasting your time. They see you as a potential gold digger. Watch "Monster In law" to understand my point.
6. INFLUENCE FROM SINGLE FRIENDS
A single man who frequently hangs around single friends hardly thinks of getting married.
Change comes when they all resolve to settle down for marriage.
At this time, reality dawns and they finally see the weight in having a life partner.
7. CHILDISHNESS
Some men are actually childish. Even at their late 30s, they think it is not yet time. They keep deceiving themselves wearing Jeans and t-shirt.
My wife calls them Youngi Cho, they just love ladies hanging around them. They love the attention. They believe marriage will rob them of this excitement of women flocking around them.
You find them alot in churches, music directors and even some young pastors. They are afraid, the young ladies in their church will leave once they marry.
Before they know it. Boom!!!! They are in their late 40s or even 50s. Visit churches with some single pastors, alot of ladies there are believing God that they will be the chosen one.
8. CONFUSION.
There are men who are so emotionally and mentally immatured. They don't know what they want.
When they meet Ifeoma, they say she is the one until, Chioma shows up then their language changes. Not until their friends cousin, visits then they will say " I have been waiting for you all these while.
They are so indecisive, lack the tenacity to decide. They are so afraid of making a mistake "What if she is not the one". Paralysed by the fear of wrong marriage and future troubles in marriage.
I know some of them, they are still single and searching. Until they grow, marriage is far from them.
9. DENOMINATIONAL/TRIBALISM*
I am a WINNERS member and can not marry a CHRIST EMBASSY member.
I'm from ANAMBRA and must marry someone from ANAMBRA so our marriage will be Deep.
She must know how to cook Ofe Onugbu and Nsala. Her village should not be far from mine.
I am a Scriptural Union and must marry an SU, any other sister if not a member isn't appropriate.
Even if God is leading you to her.
I'm from Rivers state and must marry from Rivers. River will soon carry you.
This attitude has kept many bound, they entered "Mano Pause" and are about to join the men's league because of their age.
Uncle, understood that every believer is from one family called CHRISTIANITY.
If God is leading you to another sect/tribe, kindly obey Him, stop delaying yourself by yourself
10. NARCISSIST.
Some men are beast, they are very violent. They can beat a lady at anytime, anywhere for just any little reason.
They lack self esteem, easily threatened by another other male. They are always suspecting and are FBI agents. They can investigate and have trust issues.
Many ladies run from them after dating them for just 3 months. After they have shown themselves, they keep begging and pleading. I will not do it again. My friend, please go and work on your anger issues before taking another persons daughter to be your wife.
